Launched in 2016, Vetiver Insolent by Miller Harris is a Woody Spicy fragrance crafted by Mathieu Nardin. This composition opens with the freshness of elemi and bergamot, providing a bright, aromatic start that soon gives way to the warm spice of cardamom and black pepper. At its heart, Vetiver Insolent features iris and lavender, adding depth and complexity before settling into a rich base of vetiver, amber, oakmoss, and tonka bean. This blend creates an earthy warmth that is both comforting and intriguing.
Apply Vetiver Insolent with a light hand — the aromatic opening is vibrant, but it fades quickly. The woody and spicy base notes develop slowly over time, so letting the fragrance sit on your skin for at least an hour before going out enhances its character.
