The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2006 by Miller Harris, Rose En Noir was crafted by Lyn Harris to blend the familiar with the unexpected. The fragrance opens with fresh spices like cumin and coriander, which add a vibrant, aromatic edge to its heart of rose and violet leaf. This floral bouquet is then contrasted with the rich warmth of tobacco and patchouli, creating a composition that oscillates between light and dark, freshness and depth.
Apply this fragrance sparingly at first — the fresh spicy notes are bright but fade quickly. The tobacco and patchouli base will emerge more prominently after about an hour, making it ideal for a night out where you want to build depth over time.
