The story behind the bottle.
Mathieu Nardin crafted Scherzo for Miller Harris in 2018, creating a composition that balances the warmth of oud and rose with fresh spicy notes. The fragrance opens with tangerine and artemisia, which cut through the richness of the base notes like a sharp chord against a deep bass line. The heart of narcissus and pitosporum adds an unexpected layer of complexity before settling into a warm patchouli and vanilla base that reads as both modern and lasting.
Scherzo has a strong presence from the top notes down to its base, so one or two sprays is sufficient. The tangerine and artemisia are quick to fade, making way for the rich oud and floral heart within an hour. Best worn during cooler seasons when the warmth of the patchouli and vanilla feels most inviting.
