Launched in 2012 by Pierre Montale, Aoud Purple Rose is a bold Oriental Floral fragrance that marries the richness of oud with the elegance of rose. The composition opens with saffron and blackberry, adding a fruity and spicy depth to the initial floral notes. As it settles into its heart, the woody accords of agarwood (oud) and sandalwood take center stage, creating a warm and enveloping base that is enhanced by patchouli's earthy undertones. The inclusion of leather adds a subtle contrast, grounding the sweetness with a touch of ruggedness.
