Wood On Fire by Montale, launched in 2021 and crafted by Pierre Montale, is an evocative blend of woody, smoky, and aromatic accords. The fragrance opens with a bold oud note that immediately captures attention, followed by the warmth of powdery amber and vanilla, creating a comforting yet enigmatic scent. Earthy undertones add depth, while the smoky element gives it a sense of mystery and intensity.
Two sprays is sufficient — the smoky oud note projects well initially but allows the powdery base to emerge gradually. It pairs best with cooler evenings when the smokiness can envelop you without being overpowering.
