The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2001 by Montblanc, Presence was crafted by perfumer Corinne Cachen as a warm and spicy composition that balances fresh aromatics with woody depth. The fragrance opens with the invigorating spiciness of cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger, creating an immediate sense of energy and warmth. This freshness is complemented by the crispness of bergamot and apple, adding a fruity zest to the mix. As it settles, the heart notes of sage and heliotrope introduce a powdery, slightly floral character, while tonka bean and white musk in the base offer a smooth, enveloping finish. The result is a fragrance that feels both invigorating and comforting, perfect for those who appreciate a blend of boldness and sophistication.
