Launched in 2022, Scarlet Rouge by Moresque is an intricate blend of sweet almond and dried fruits, underscored by the warmth of tonka bean and vanilla. Perfumer Andrea Casotti has crafted a composition that oscillates between the crispness of bergamot and cherry blossom and the opulence of Taif rose and jasmine. The fragrance settles into a base of precious woods, musk, and amber, creating an enveloping aura that is both comforting and alluring.
Apply a light mist on pulse points, as the fragrance blooms gradually over time. The sweet almond and dried fruits in the top notes are most prominent initially but give way to the more enveloping base notes within an hour. This makes it perfect for daytime wear when you want a scent that evolves subtly throughout the day.
