Moustache Eau de Cologne by Rochas was launched in 1949 and created by the renowned perfumers Edmond Roudnitska and Thérèse Roudnitska. This citrus aromatic fragrance opens with a burst of bergamot and lemon, providing an invigorating freshness that feels distinctly crisp and clean. The heart introduces notes of lavender and rosemary, adding a herbal complexity to the composition. It settles into a base of cedarwood and musk, grounding the vibrant top notes with earthy warmth.
Moustache Eau de Cologne is a proof of Rochas's legacy of elevating classic scents with modern sophistication. Its enduring popularity speaks to its ability to balance invigorating freshness with subtle depth.

Application Tips
Apply one to two sprays in the morning for an invigorating start. The citrus top notes are bright but fleeting, so reapply if you want to maintain that fresh aroma throughout the day. The base notes will linger longer and provide a subtle warmth.

Founding perfumer · 23 fragrances · French

Edmond Roudnitska is remembered today as one of the most important perfumers in history: as a ""perfumer composer"" and the inventor of modern perfumery. His encounter in the 1950s with Serge Heftler-Louiche, the founder of Parfums Christian Dior and Frédéric Malle’s grandfather, was decisive. Together they created many legendary perfumes: “Eau Fraîche”, “Diorissimo”, “Diorella”, and most famous of all, “Eau Sauvage”, whose launch coincided with the public’s recognition of Edmond as the first “nose” of the perfume industry.Edmond began his career as a chemist at Roure Bertrand Dupont, where he developed an encyclopedic knowledge of natural and synthetic raw materials, as well as a distinctive minimalist style, which led to his legendary, secret masterpiece, “Le Parfum de Thérèse”. Only she, his wife, was allowed to wear it; but as a token of their shared family history, and their mutual trust, she entrusted the formula to Frédéric Malle after Edmond’s death.
