Launched in 2025 by Mugler, Alien Extraintense is a bold new addition to the house's iconic Alien line, crafted by perfumer Dominique Ropion. The fragrance opens with the fresh, citrusy brightness of petitgrain, which gives way to a heart of jasmine and tuberose — two floral notes that create an intoxicatingly vibrant energy. The base is warm and comforting, combining cashmeran with soft musky nuances and a touch of sweet vanilla. This composition radiates a powerful yet intimate warmth, making it a standout in Mugler's sophisticated lineup.
Alien Extraintense is best applied in light layers. The petitgrain top note fades within an hour, but the base notes of cashmeran and vanilla continue to develop on skin over time. This fragrance reads better close to the skin than across a room, so aim for pulse points rather than broad sprays.
