The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2015 by Mugler, Cuir Impertinent is a leather fragrance for women and men, created by perfumer Jean-Christophe Hérault. The composition opens with the bright spiciness of star anise before transitioning to a heart of tobacco, which adds warmth and depth. The base notes of amber and leather create a rich, enveloping atmosphere that feels both impertinent and luxurious.
Apply two sprays to the pulse points, as the star anise top note is bright but brief. The tobacco and amber base notes develop gradually over time, making this fragrance better suited for daytime or early evening wear.
