The Story

Launched in 2001 by Clive Christian, No. 1 Masculine is a masterclass in restrained elegance crafted by perfumer Patricia Choux. The composition opens with a bright snap of lime and nutmeg before unfolding into a luminous heart of lily of the valley and iris, an unexpected touch that lifts its refinement. The sandalwood base emerges like silk against skin, creating a fragrance that feels both lasting and utterly present, woody yet ethereal.

Application Tips

Given its strong sillage and long-lasting nature, one or two sprays is sufficient to ensure it lingers throughout the day. The bright lime top note fades quickly, but the woody base carries the scent for hours, making it ideal for daytime wear.
