The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 by Serge de Oliveira, Le Passant by Ormaie is an aromatic fougère that balances freshness with warmth. The opening notes of bergamot and lavender create a crisp, invigorating start, while the heart introduces marigold for added complexity and herbal depth. The base notes of tonka bean and vanilla provide a rich, sweet contrast to the fresh spiciness of the top accords, creating a harmonious blend that feels both modern and lasting.
Le Passant is best applied lightly but directly to pulse points. The fresh top notes are fleeting, so wait a few minutes for the warm vanilla and tonka bean base to fully emerge. It pairs particularly well with cooler weather, as the warmth of its base notes becomes more pronounced in lower temperatures.
