The story behind the bottle.
Lavender Extreme by Tom Ford was launched in 2019, crafted by perfumer Olivier Gillotin to challenge the traditional boundaries of lavender fragrances. It opens with a bright and fresh citrus-aromatic burst from lemon and violet, followed by the unmistakable presence of lavender that is both intense and soothing. The heart notes of geranium and rose add a floral complexity, while cinnamon brings a warm spiciness. Tonka bean and coumarin in the base create an enveloping warmth, making Lavender Extreme a composition that balances freshness with depth.
Apply Lavender Extreme with a few sprays to your pulse points for an intense first impression. The lavender and cinnamon notes are particularly strong initially but settle into a comforting warmth over time. It pairs well with cooler evenings, where its enveloping base notes can fully bloom.
