Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2005 by Ormonde Jayne, Isfarkand is a Woody Chypre fragrance crafted by perfumer Geza Schoen. The composition opens with bright citrus notes like lime and bergamot, which are immediately grounded by the earthy richness of vetiver and cedar. Pink pepper adds a subtle spice that cuts through the sweetness of the top notes without overpowering them. This balance between freshness and warmth creates an atmosphere that is both invigorating and enveloping.
Isfarkand's top notes are bright but short-lived, so apply two sprays to ensure the woody base has time to develop. The scent reads better close to skin than in a room, making it ideal for daytime wear when you want something that feels intimate and personal.
