The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2015 by Parfums de Marly, Akaster is an Oriental fragrance crafted by perfumer Hamid Merati-Kashani. The composition opens with the bright zest of lemon and cypress before giving way to a heart of Bulgarian rose and African geranium. At its core, Akaster features agarwood (oud), musk, and cardamom, creating a warm and spicy base that adds depth and complexity. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor overpowering, striking a balance between freshness and warmth.
Apply Akaster in light layers — the citrus and aromatic top notes are bright but fleeting. The warmth of the oud and musk comes through more noticeably with time, making it ideal for daytime wear that evolves throughout the day.
