The story behind the bottle.
Palatine, crafted by Hamid Merati-Kashani and Julien Sprecher for Parfums de Marly, launched in 2024 as a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women. The composition opens with the freshness of pear, bergamot, and mandarin, creating a bright and invigorating start. This citrusy freshness then gives way to a heart of violet, floral bouquet, and lavender, which introduces a subtle and delicate sweetness. The base notes of musk, sandalwood, vanilla, and patchouli ground the fragrance with warmth and depth, ensuring it remains both elegant and comforting throughout the day.
Apply this fragrance two sprays at pulse points for a balanced experience. The citrus top notes are vibrant but fleeting, so allow the powder and floral heart to take center stage as they blend seamlessly into the warm base notes.
