The story behind the bottle.
Hamid Merati-Kashani crafted Valero, launched by Parfums de Marly in 2025, as a fresh and aromatic composition that balances citrus brightness with woody depth. The fragrance opens with citron and bergamot, which give way to the herbal nuances of juniper and lavender, creating an invigorating freshness. The base notes of nutmeg, ambrox super, patchouli, and sandalwood add a warm and earthy foundation, making Valero a dynamic blend that evolves throughout the day.
Apply Valero to pulse points for a longer-lasting experience. The citrus notes are vibrant but fade quickly, so a second application in the afternoon can extend its presence. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than diffusing into a room.
