Launched in 2019 by Patricia de Nicolai for Nicolai Parfumeur Créateur, Baikal Leather Intense is a fragrance that marries the rich intensity of leather with earthy and powdery accords. The composition opens with yuzu and saffron, providing a bright yet spicy contrast to the heart notes of leather, iris, and violet. This floral-leather accord is anchored by a base of pine tar, vetiver, sandalwood, musk, and tonka bean, creating an earthy and animalic depth that lingers on the skin.
Apply Baikal Leather Intense to pulse points and let it settle for at least five minutes before heading out. The yuzu and saffron top notes are fleeting, but the base notes take time to bloom fully on the skin. This fragrance is best enjoyed close to the body rather than across a room.
