Kiss Me Tender by Nicolai Parfumeur Créateur, launched in 2010 and created by Patricia de Nicolai, is an Oriental Floral fragrance that weaves together a rich blend of sweet and spicy notes. The composition opens with the warmth of bitter almond and star anise before transitioning into a heart of orange blossom, heliotrope, and ylang-ylang. These florals are enveloped by soft spices like cinnamon and cloves, leading to a base of vanilla, musk, and opoponax that reads as a comforting embrace.
One or two sprays is enough to capture this fragrance's enveloping warmth. The spicy top notes are quick to fade within an hour, so focus on letting the rich base notes bloom closer to skin. This scent reads best close up rather than from a distance.
