Launched in 2013, Pierre de Velay Extrait No. 23 by Roja Dove is a complex chypre floral that balances bright citrus and aldehydes with warm spices and rich animalic notes. The fragrance opens with mandarin orange and bergamot, which cut through the sweetness of jasmine and ylang-ylang before settling into a heart of rose and violet. The base layers in sandalwood, vetiver, oakmoss, and leather for an earthy warmth that is both powdery and musky.
