Launched in 1998 by Ralph Lauren, Extreme Polo Sport is a fragrance that embodies the essence of an energetic and dynamic lifestyle. Created by perfumer René Morgenthaler, it opens with a burst of peppery spice and minty freshness, followed by a heart of bergamot and nutmeg. The composition settles into a woody base of guaiac wood, sandalwood, and elemi resin, with hints of incense adding warmth and depth. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor heavy, striking a balance between fresh aromatic notes and warm spices.
Two sprays are sufficient to capture its dynamic essence. The fresh top notes will last for a couple of hours before giving way to the warm woody base. Best applied in the morning or early afternoon when you want an energetic scent that can carry through the day.
