Love by Ralph Lauren, launched in 2008, is an Oriental Floral fragrance that marries the warmth of powdery and sweet notes with the depth of woody accords. The composition opens with a burst of berry fruits and magnolia before settling into a heart of mimosa, rose, and ylang-ylang. The base layers of patchouli, musk, vanilla, vetiver, amber, sandalwood, and orris root create a warm, earthy embrace that feels both comforting and sophisticated.
Apply this fragrance in light layers to allow the powdery and floral notes to build naturally. The sweet and woody base notes develop gradually over time, so it’s best to let them breathe rather than layering heavily at once.
