Launched in 2008 by Olivier Gillotin for Ralph Lauren, Notorious is a unisex Oriental Floral fragrance that balances the unexpected brightness of black currant and pink pepper with the warmth of carnation, peony, and white chocolate. This composition opens with an energetic burst of citrusy bergamot before transitioning into a heart where floral notes are underscored by soft spices. The base layers of patchouli, vanilla, musk, and orris root create a rich, enveloping finish that feels both intimate and inviting.
Notorious has a strong opening that fades within two hours. For maximum impact, layer it with a light mist on your pulse points and let it evolve over time. It's best for daytime wear when you want an energetic start followed by a soft, inviting warmth.
