The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2016 and crafted by perfumer Harry Frémont, Portrait of New York Vetiver by Ralph Lauren is a Woody Spicy fragrance that captures the essence of the city's energy. The composition opens with cardamom, bringing a fresh and aromatic burst that cuts through the air like an early morning breeze in Manhattan. Black pepper adds warmth and spiciness to the heart, creating a tension between freshness and heat. Vetiver forms the base, grounding the entire fragrance with its earthy, woody character.
Apply one or two sprays to your pulse points. The cardamom opening is bright but fleeting, so a second application may be needed after an hour or so to maintain its freshness. Vetiver's earthy warmth will linger throughout the day.
