The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 by Ralph Lauren, Saffron is an Oriental Spicy fragrance created by perfumer Carlos Benaïm. This composition opens with the fresh spiciness of cardamom and black pepper, balanced against the bright citrus of grapefruit. At its heart lies saffron, a rare and luxurious note that adds depth and warmth to the blend. The base notes of suede, artemisia, and amberwood create an intriguing metallic and woody accord, making Saffron both sophisticated and unexpected.
One spray is enough to capture Saffron's complexity. The bright top notes fade within an hour, but the leathery and metallic base notes continue to evolve throughout the day. Best for daytime wear when it can complement a professional look without overpowering.
