Launched in 2014 by Ramon Monegal for Bergdorf Goodman, Very Private is a fragrance that balances the lightness of citrus and fruity notes with the depth of musky and mossy accords. The opening features citruses and fruity notes, creating an effervescent freshness that transitions seamlessly into the heart where lilac, violet, orange blossom, and tea rose blend together in a harmonious floral bouquet. This is all anchored by oakmoss, vanilla, and licorice in the base, adding warmth and complexity without overpowering the lighter elements.
Very Private has a balanced projection that benefits from two sprays — it blooms best close to skin rather than filling a room. The citrus and fruity top notes fade within an hour, so apply before stepping out for maximum impact during the day.
