Oud Al ShamsBudget · under $40Composition & Character
The story behind the bottle.
Oud Al Shams by Rasasi, launched in 2024, is an Oriental Woody fragrance that balances warm spices with rich, enveloping base notes. The composition opens with a blend of cinnamon and pepper, creating a spicy warmth that immediately draws you in. As the scent evolves, osmanthus and agarwood (oud) introduce a floral and woody depth, while vanilla and tonka bean add a sweet, musky undertone. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor too sharp, striking a harmonious balance between its various elements.
Apply Oud Al Shams sparingly; its rich base notes will develop on your skin over time. It reads best close to the skin rather than across a room, making it ideal for intimate settings or cooler evenings when you want a fragrance that lingers in warmth.
