The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2002, Absolu by Rochas is an Oriental Woody fragrance crafted by the renowned perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. The composition opens with mandarin orange and fig leaf, bringing a fresh burst of citrus that quickly gives way to the floral heart notes of orange blossom and lily. Pepper adds a subtle warmth, while rose brings depth and richness. The base notes of benzoin, tolu balsam, labdanum, and cedar create a warm, spicy, and powdery foundation that anchors the fragrance with a lingering sensuality.
Apply two sprays to the pulse points for a balanced scent that evolves throughout the day. The citrus notes are bright but fleeting, so allow it time to settle into its heart and base notes before heading out.
