Launched in 2015, Atramental by Room 1015 is a fragrance that bridges the gap between fresh citrus and warm, spicy woods. The composition opens with water notes and bergamot, creating an invigorating freshness. As it evolves, black pepper and cardamom introduce a spicy tension, while saffron adds an unexpected depth of warmth. Castoreum brings a leathery undertone that contrasts beautifully with the aromatic resins, culminating in a smoky-woody base. This interplay between fresh and warm notes makes Atramental both dynamic and intriguing.
Atramental is best applied to pulse points for a more intimate experience. The citrus and spicy notes are fleeting but impactful, so layering can enhance its longevity. Avoid over-application in humid weather as it may emphasize the water notes too much.
