The story behind the bottle.
Rouge Smoking Extrait by BDK Parfums is a new Oriental fragrance created by perfumers Amélie Bourgeois and Margaux Le Paih Guérin, launched in 2024. This composition opens with bright red mandarin and pink pepper, followed by the warmth of cherry and almond. The heart reveals notes of Peru balsam and milk, adding a creamy depth that transitions smoothly into a rich base of tonka bean, Spanish labdanum, oud, ambroxan, rum, vanilla absolute, amber, patchouli, benzoin, and siam. This fragrance is designed to evoke an atmosphere that balances sweet and woody notes with complex warmth.
Apply one or two sprays to your pulse points. The cherry and almond top notes are bright but fleeting, so allow it to settle for at least five minutes before heading out. This fragrance is best enjoyed in the evening when its rich base notes can fully bloom.
