The story behind the bottle.
Dominique Ropion crafted Vanille Leather by BDK Parfums in 2023, a composition that weaves together the warmth of vanilla and leather with powdery florals. The fragrance opens with violet and pink pepper, introducing an unexpected tension between sweet and sharp notes before leading into the heart of tuberose, orange blossom, jasmine, and orris. This floral bouquet is enveloped by the rich warmth of vanilla and leather, anchored further by woody accords of oak, patchouli, and benzoin.
Apply this fragrance once or twice to the pulse points, as it develops slowly on skin. The powdery top notes are fleeting, but the base notes of vanilla and leather will linger for hours. Best suited for evenings when you want a warm, enveloping scent.
