The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2025 and crafted by perfumers Clément Gavarry and DSM-Firmenich, Sublime Leather by Salvatore Ferragamo is an Oriental Fougere fragrance that blends warm spices with rich leathers. The composition opens with a bright aromatic mix of bergamot and apple, followed by the sweet warmth of cocoa and tonka bean. As it develops, notes of cinnamon and davana create a spicy tension against a woody base of cedarwood, vetiver, and patchouli. Leather and labdanum add depth, while vanilla and amber provide a comforting finish.
This fragrance requires a deliberate application — two sprays to start, allowing time for the spicy notes to meld with the warm leathers and woody base. It reads better close to skin than from a distance, so avoid layering too heavily in anticipation of sillage.
