The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2022 by Scents of Wood, Bread in Chestnut is a unisex Woody fragrance crafted by perfumer Meabh McCurtin. It opens with fresh and warm spicy notes that create an inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of freshly baked bread. The heart of the composition features nutty and aromatic accords that evoke the warmth of chestnuts roasting on an open fire, while the base adds a rich layer of amber, vanilla, and balsamic notes for depth and comfort.
Apply this fragrance with two sprays — it develops best close to skin and takes about an hour for the base notes to fully bloom. It's perfect for cooler evenings when you want a comforting aroma that stays warm and inviting.
