The story behind the bottle.
Oud in Bourbon by Scents of Wood, launched in 2020 and crafted by Pascal Gaurin, is a composition that seamlessly blends the rich warmth of coffee and cacao with the deep, smoky notes of oud. The fragrance opens with a warm spicy accord that cuts through the sweetness of vanilla, creating an intriguing tension between earthy and indulgent aromas. This distinctive blend settles into a base of patchouli and balsamic accords, adding depth and complexity that lingers long after it is first applied.
For the best experience, apply Oud in Bourbon to pulse points and let it settle for about five minutes before stepping out. The warm spicy top notes fade quickly, but the rich base notes will continue to develop throughout the day.
