The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2025 by Atelier Cologne, Oolang Monochrome is a Woody Aromatic fragrance created by perfumers Domitille Michalon Bertier and Meabh McCurtin. This composition opens with earthy patchouli, followed by a fresh and gently smoky oolong tea accord that evokes the tranquil calm of a misty tea plantation. The warm cedarwood base provides comfort, while zesty bergamot adds a luminous touch. Oolang Monochrome is a tribute to the harmony between freshness and earthy depth, capturing the essence of serene sophistication.
This fragrance blooms best when applied to pulse points and allowed time to develop. The patchouli and oolong notes emerge gradually over the first hour, so a light application is recommended for daytime use.
