Eau du Soir 2019 by Sisley, launched in 2019 and crafted by perfumers Hubert d'Ornano, Isabelle d'Ornano, and Jeannine Mongin, is a chypre floral composition that balances fresh citrus and spicy notes with earthy woods and rich florals. The mandarin orange and grapefruit provide an invigorating start, leading into the heart where carnation, iris, and rose offer a delicate interplay of sweetness and depth. Patchouli, oakmoss, and pepper add warmth and complexity to the base, grounded by labdanum, amber, and musk.
This fragrance develops best with two sprays — the top notes are bright but fleeting, so the heart and base need time to fully bloom. It is particularly suited for evening wear, as its warmth and depth enhance the mood of a quiet dinner or an intimate gathering.
