The story behind the bottle.
Eau du Soir 2006 by Sisley, launched in 2006 and created by perfumers Hubert d'Ornano, Isabelle d'Ornano, and Jeannine Mongin, is a Chypre Floral fragrance that balances freshness with warmth. It opens with the bright zest of mandarin orange and grapefruit, setting a crisp tone before transitioning to an earthy heart of carnation, iris, and jasmine. The base notes of patchouli, ylang-ylang, pepper, and labdanum add depth and complexity, while musk and amber provide a warm, enveloping finish.
Apply this fragrance at the end of the day for a warm and enveloping effect. The spicy and woody base notes develop slowly over time, so it's best to let it settle into your skin rather than layering multiple sprays. It pairs well with autumn evenings but can also be worn during cooler spring nights.
