The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2011, Eau Sans Pareil by Penhaligon's is a composition crafted by Beverley Bayne that deftly balances sweet and earthy notes within its aromatic fougère framework. The fragrance opens with bright citrus and fruity accords like raspberry and pineapple, which give way to the floral heart of rose and jasmine. As it evolves on the skin, the base notes of vetiver, patchouli, and amber create a warm, enveloping finish that is both grounding and alluring.
One or two sprays are enough — the bright top notes dissipate within an hour but leave behind a lasting warmth from the base. Best for daytime wear when you want something fresh and engaging without being overpowering.
