Launched in 2020 by Andy Tauer for Tauer Perfumes, Phtaloblue is a Floral Aquatic fragrance that captures the essence of an invigorating coastal walk. The composition opens with fennel and bergamot, bringing a fresh, aromatic zest. This gives way to sea notes and lavender, creating a marine-aromatic accord reminiscent of a misty beach breeze. A subtle touch of orange blossom and bourbon geranium adds floral nuances, while tonka bean and amber anchor the fragrance with warm, comforting undertones.
Phtaloblue's top notes are vibrant and fleeting, so apply it liberally to capture that initial burst of freshness. The base notes take about an hour to develop fully, making this fragrance best suited for daytime wear when you want a gradual transition from zesty to warm.
