Francis Kurkdjian crafted Le Male Edition Collector for Jean Paul Gaultier in 2014, blending aromatic and warm spicy accords with citrus freshness. The composition opens with a bright blend of lavender, cardamom, and mint, which gives way to the green freshness of artemisia and bergamot. At its heart, orange blossom and cinnamon add warmth before settling into a woody base of sandalwood, cedar, amber, and vanilla. This fragrance is neither strictly masculine nor feminine, embodying Jean Paul Gaultier's ethos of inclusivity and diversity.
This fragrance projects well with just one or two sprays. The top notes are bright but fade within an hour, so allow it time to settle into its warmer heart and woody base notes for a more balanced experience. Ideal for day-to-evening wear.
