The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2024, Le Male Lover by Jean Paul Gaultier is an Oriental Vanilla fragrance created by perfumers Natalie Gracia-Cetto and Quentin Bisch. This composition opens with a fresh spicy accord of white pepper and finger lime, creating a sharp contrast to the warm vanilla and ambergris that follow. The heart brings a powdery musk alongside balsamic notes, while the base settles into woody tones and marine accents, giving it an unexpected depth and complexity.
Apply this fragrance in light layers to allow the spicy top notes to unfold before the warmth of vanilla and musk takes over. It blooms best when worn close to skin, making it perfect for intimate moments or casual daytime wear.
