Rivière by Thameen, launched in 2016 and created by Julia Rodriguez Pastor, is a unisex Oriental Spicy fragrance that captures the essence of an urban journey. The composition opens with saffron and black pepper, offering a sharp contrast between the warmth of saffron and the bite of black pepper. This leads into a heart of Turkish rose and sage, which adds depth without overpowering the initial spiciness. The base notes of leather, carnation, and cypriol oil create an earthy, animalic foundation that grounds the fragrance in a modern, sophisticated way.
Apply Rivière lightly to allow its layers to unfold gradually. The top notes are bright but fade quickly, so the spiciness is best experienced close to the skin. For longevity, reapply after an hour or two to maintain the balance between the spicy opening and the leathery base.
