The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2025, L’Explicite by The House of Oud is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance created by perfumer Cristian Calabro. This composition opens with the vibrant brightness of lemon zest and banana, quickly giving way to the sweet warmth of peanut butter and bread. At its heart, ylang-ylang and violet add layers of floral sweetness, while spices bring a warm, spicy complexity. The base notes of musk and amber ground the fragrance, creating an enveloping warmth that lingers.
Apply L’Explicite to pulse points for a lasting warmth. The top notes are bright but fleeting, so allow a few minutes for the gourmand heart to develop before heading out. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than across a room.
