Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2009, Versense by Versace is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance that has become one of the most reviewed and beloved scents in the catalog. The composition opens with bright citrus notes like bergamot and green mandarin, which give way to a fresh spicy heart featuring cardamom and fig. This contrasts beautifully with the soft white floral elements of lily and jasmine before settling into a powdery woody base with musk and sandalwood. It's a fragrance that perfectly balances freshness and warmth, making it as suitable for daytime wear as it is for evening events.
Versense is best applied in light layers — two sprays will allow the citrus to shine initially before the floral and woody notes emerge. It's particularly effective for daytime wear due to its crisp opening, but it also holds up well into evening hours as the powdery base becomes more prominent.
