Lavender Illusion by Viktor&Rolf, launched in 2017 and crafted by perfumer Amandine Clerc-Marie, is an aromatic fragrance that balances freshness with warmth. The composition opens with a zesty interplay of black currant and finger lime, providing a vibrant burst of citrusy energy before transitioning to the heart note of lavender. This floral element is grounded by woody and musky undertones, creating a scent that feels both familiar and surprising. Pine adds a fresh spicy edge, while musk rounds out the base with a subtle warmth.

Grasse-born, Firmenich-trainedAmandine Clerc-Marie is a French perfumer born in Grasse, where her mother also worked in the perfume industry. She trained at ISIPCA and spent more than ten years working alongside Michel Almairac before joining Firmenich in 2011 as a senior perfumer.
