Launched in 2002 by Penhaligon's, Lavandula is a fragrance that weaves together aromatic and herbal notes with a touch of warmth from vanilla and musk. Created by Jean-Pierre Béthouart, the composition opens with basil and pepper, leading to a heart of lavender and clary sage. The base of musk, vanilla, tonka bean, and amber provides a soft, enveloping finish that is both comforting and grounding. Lavandula stands as a proof of Penhaligon's legacy of blending classic notes into modern compositions.
Apply one or two sprays to ensure that the aromatic opening gives way to the warm, enveloping base notes. The fragrance develops over time, so allow it to settle before heading out.
