Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2017 by WIDIAN and crafted by perfumer Jean-Claude Astier, Sahara is a unisex fragrance that transports the wearer to a landscape of warm, sun-baked earth. The composition opens with elemi and orange, creating an aromatic and citrusy freshness that feels crisp against the skin. As it settles, saffron and rose bring a subtle warmth, while amber and vanilla envelop everything in a cozy embrace. Cedar adds a grounding element, ensuring that Sahara remains anchored in its evocative narrative.
Apply two sprays to ensure the aromatic top notes are noticeable, but remember that Sahara's warmth builds gradually over time. The base notes take about an hour to fully bloom, so it’s best for daytime wear when you have time for it to develop.
