The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2012, Black Sukar by Xerjoff is an Oriental fragrance created by perfumer Chris Maurice. This composition opens with the bright freshness of freesia and orange, punctuated by pink pepper's spicy kick. The heart unfolds layers of peony and damask rose, adding a floral warmth that contrasts beautifully with the earthy richness of agarwood (oud). The base notes of white musk and vanilla create a soft, enveloping finish that lingers on the skin.
Apply Black Sukar lightly to pulse points for a balanced experience. The citrus and spicy notes are most pronounced initially but give way to a rich, warm base over time. It's best suited for evening wear when the depth of its composition can be fully appreciated.
