Launched in 2015 by Xerjoff and crafted by perfumer Chris Maurice, Cruz del Sur is a chypre floral fragrance that bridges the gap between fresh citrus and deep musk. The opening notes of mandarin orange and sea notes create a bright, invigorating atmosphere, while eucalyptus adds a touch of camphoraceous freshness. As it settles, rose and patchouli introduce a rich, earthy warmth, grounded by the powdery embrace of vanilla and amber. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor too woody; instead, it finds a harmonious balance that feels both contemporary and lasting.
