La Capitale by Xerjoff, launched in 2018 and crafted by perfumer Chris Maurice, is a bold Oriental Vanilla fragrance that defies the conventions of gender. The composition opens with fruity notes like strawberry and peach, which blend seamlessly into caramel and vanilla, creating an initial sweetness that's both familiar and inviting. As it develops, warm spices like saffron and ginger add depth, while labdanum and leather introduce an earthy, slightly animalic undertone. This fragrance is a journey through contrasts, from the bright and sunny to the dark and sensual.
